This dog podcast is devoted to highlighting the life-changing joy that humankind’s best friend can bring to a family. Therefore, we aim to bring you another great companion for your dog walk or commute: a weekly half-hour podcast of bright, fun-filled conversations celebrating dog stories from history, the news, entertainment, and social media.

As parents of a Jack Russell Terrier, we will explore the traits, needs, and benefits of the breed dearest to our hearts – as well as information about dogs in general directly from leading dog trainers and researchers.

Also, we are thrilled to interview and promote the wonderful works of authors, illustrators, and photographers who include dogs in their creations.

Through the community our show creates, our mission is to improve the quality of life of pet owners and for dogs everywhere–especially those who haven’t found their forever homes.

Jack Russell Terriers, Our Favorite Breed

We – along with all JRT parents – use the term “breed” loosely. All of us know that Jack Russell Terriers are more than just a breed; they are a calling. A passion. A mission, requiring wholehearted devotion which may last the better part of two decades. From the time our JRT pups are weened or rescued, to the time we say goodbye, Jack Russell families experience devotion, joy, and heartache deeper than most – for Jack Russell Terriers are dogs unlike any other.
